GCTU Alumni Honours Dr. Bernard Badu-Acquah for Outstanding Advertising Achievements 2025

Dr. Bernard Badu-Acquah, a renowned creative strategist and innovation expert, was honoured for Outstanding Achievements, Dedication, and Excellence in advertising during a colourful ceremony held at the Sunlodge Hotel as part of the GCTU Alumni Homecoming 2025.

The event brought together alumni from various graduating classes of the Ghana Communication Technology University (GCTU) to celebrate professional excellence and impactful contributions across different industries. Dr. Badu-Acquah was specially recognised for his lasting impact in the advertising space through his work as a strategic thinker, brand innovator, and business leader.

In his remarks, Dr. Acquah attributed the recognition to grace, consistency, and a commitment to creativity that delivers results. He further urged businesses to focus on their core strengths and engage professional advertising agencies to drive brand visibility and innovation.

“Advertising is not just about publicity—it’s about connecting meaningfully with your audience. Businesses must trust professionals to help them grow while they focus on what they do best,” he said.

Dr. Badu-Acquah also used the moment to dedicate the award to his spiritual father Rev. Elvis Agyemang and spiritual mother Lady Counselor Mercy Agyemang of Grace Mountain Ministry for their unwavering spiritual guidance. He also acknowledged his wife, Mrs. Sylvia Badu-Acquah, his mother Miss Margaret Kwakye, and the entire Bensyl Ghana family for their unrelenting support.

Dr. Badu-Acquah is the founder and lead strategist at Bensyl Ghana, a creative agency known for innovative branding, impactful campaigns, and strategic communication services.

The GCTU Alumni Homecoming continues to serve as a platform for networking, recognition, and the promotion of excellence among past students of the university.
