18-year-old girl arrested for stabbing her boyfriend to death over Ghc60

A lady recognized as Idowu Abosede, 18 has been arrested after stabbing her boyfriend to death over Ghc60.00.

The incident is said to have occurred after an argument over just N3000 (translated to GHC 60) ensued between them.

It occurred in Nigeria.

She is said to be awaiting trial.

Meanwhile, the police have released an official statement that reads”

“On interrogation, the suspect claimed that she came to pass the night with the deceased and when it was morning, she took the sum of N3,000 from the deceased which he was not ready to part with. This led to an argument between them.

She further stated that it was the deceased who brought out the knife and in the cause of dragging it with him, the knife stabbed him on his chest.”

The body of the deceased has since been handed over to his relations on demand for burial according to Islamic injunctions.”
