2024 Elections: let’s kick start door to door campaign with 24 hr economy in mind- Akamba to NDC

A fomer National Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Hon.Joshua Hamidu Akamba has entreated the members of the umbrella fraternity to begin doing door-to-door campaign in order for the party to recapture power in the 2024 general elections.

He said, the door to door campaign should trade on the policies of the NDC especially the 24 hr economy.

Mr Akamba expressed optimism about the transformative potential of the Mahama 24 hour economy, pledging to work with the private sector to build the Ghana.

He added that Mr mahama 24 hour economy Initiative revolves around transforming Ghana into a self- sufficient and export- led economy through a three – shift work schedule.

Mr Akamba painted a grim picture of the current economic situation, citing the government’s failure to turn the corner, leading to business closure, layoffs and massive decline in major sectors of the economy.

He reiterated that the New Patriotic Party has lost the trust of Ghanaians because the government has failed to fulfill its campaign promises.

“Let’s start campaign now at the door step of the potential voters. Our hard work will be going from house to house, landlord to landlord to campaign” he stressed

He said, the governing New Patriotic Party has woefully failed Ghanaians and will not have the chance to win power 2024 elections because this year’s Elections is a win for the NDC.
