2024 Polls: Kennedy Agyapong deserves to be named Dr Bawumia’s running mate- Arthur K

A leading member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Dr Arthur Kobina Kennedy has made recommendations that, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia who is the flagbearer of the NPP should select Kennedy Agyapong as his running mate for the 2024 general elections.

Dr Arthur K, disclosed that Mr Ken Agyapong who gave Dr Bawumia a horse race in the NPP flagbearer elections has the credibility and integrity to partner Dr Bawumia.

In an interview on Ghana Tonight Show on TV3 he said “The choice of the running mate is always the prerogative of the presidential candidate and he tells you who he is going to be. I think that in terms of signaling, he can understand the yearning for change,.

“Integrity and plain speaking Kennedy Agyapong deserves serious consideration as a running mate on the NPP side.”

He further stated that the 2024 general elections will characterised by three key pertinent issues, corruption, nepotism, and incompetence.

He was quick to say that, eyes on the grounds to see how the aforementioned issues will be tackled by the contesting candidates in their campaign kits because of the danger they pose to the growth  of the country.

“The biggest issues of this election should be corruption, nepotism, and incompetence,” he added.
