48-year-old Man Commit Suicide in Akroso

A 48-year-old man, Shaibu Musa shocked residents of Akroso near Asamankese of the Eastern Region today when he was seen dead by hanging.

According to Assemblymember in the area, Ahmed Tijani, the deceased was a community Police Assistant and he was assisting as a Watchdog committee member after his contract ended as Police Assistant.

He said the deceased was seen last Friday in the local mosque and worshipped with others.

The Assemblyman said there had been marital issues between the deceased and his wife for some time now but he cannot link that to the suicide by hanging.

Shaibu Musa, also known as Kakraka left behind four kids and his body has been taken to Oda Government Hospital mortuary for further investigation.
