Court sentences former Water Resources Minister to three-month imprisonment

Former Minister of Water Resources, Sarah Ochekpe and two others have been sentenced by the Federal High Court Jos Division to three-month imprisonment.

The two others have been identified as Raymond Dabo and Evangelist Leo Sunday Jitung.

The trio had been standing trial for four years on charges bordering on conspiracy and money laundering.

The sentence however has an option of a fine of N1m.
