NPP polls: One arrested for impeding ballot counting

One person has been arrested by the Police for impeding the election process at the ongoing national executives elections of the New Patriotic Party in Accra.

The suspect reportedly embarked on his activity during the counting of the polls at the Accra Sports Stadium.

“The Police have arrested one person for impeding the election process at the ongoing NPP National Delegates Conference in Accra,” the Police wrote on their Facebook wall Sunday dawn as counting of ballots continue.

Over the 6000 delegates voters in the polls.
