NPP Flagbearer: Kennedy Agyapong Is A Threat To Bawumia – Obiri Boahen

Nana Obiri Boahen, a strong supporter of Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia, has said that Kennedy Agyapong is a major threat to Bawumia in the race to be the next leader of the New Patriotic Party.

Nana Obiri Boahen, a former deputy general secretary for the NPP, said on Wontumi TV’s State of Ghana show that Hon. Kennedy Agyapong has a voice that resonates with the people, including Members of Parliament.

Nana Obiri Boahen said in a statement that was picked up by Wontumionline.com that “among the potential flagbearer candidates, Kennedy is the one who poses a threat to Bawumia.”

He was quick to say, though, that Bawumia would win the upcoming race, and he said that both the Central region and the Ashanti region would vote for him.
