3 types of men who will likely have prostate enlargement

Every male child is born with a prostate gland which increases in size as the body grows. However, some prostate becomes too big that they start causing urinary and sexual problems for the man.

Even though any man can have prostate issues, some men have more risk than others. In this article, let’s talk about men who are at higher risk of having enlarged prostate according to Healthline.

1. Men who are obese.

Overweight men have higher levels of a sex hormone called estrogen which is known to make the prostate grow. Being obese is one of the factors that can increase your risk of having prostate cancer as a man. You can reduce your risk by shedding off extra pounds with a healthy diet and exercise

2. Men who live a sedentary life.

Some men have the habit of being inactive for long periods which can cause obesity which will, in turn, lead to an enlarged prostate. Men are expected to exercise for at least 30 minutes 5 days a week to keep off excess weight and for overall wellness. If you haven’t been exercising before, you don’t need to start with difficult exercises. You can engage in skipping, running, or cycling for a few minutes per day
