Man rapes two goats to death

According to Christian beliefs, the world is coming to an end, and the signs of the end are all the atrocities our community experiences. A 20-year-old man from Godlwayo Village 3, Esigodini District, Matabeleland South, was found guilty of killing a goat by rape.

Similar incidents of sexual assault against animals have been reported in South Africa over the past few years. The most annoying aspect of these types of cases is that the same individuals continue to commit the same offences after being caught and punished.

Mthandazo Ndlovu appeared in front of Esigodini resident magistrate Nomagugu Sibanda, who charged him with two counts of bestiality by Section 74 of the Criminal Law (Codification and Reform) Act Chapter 9:23 of the Zimbabwean constitution. He pleaded guilty to both counts and was sentenced to 18 months in prison, with six months suspended for three years under the condition that he not be convicted of any bestiality-related offence during that time.

The remaining twelve months of Ndlovu’s sentence were suspended on the condition that he perform 420 hours of community service at Goddwayo Primary School. Ndlovu was caught in the act of raping two goats in the village of Ntabende, Esigodini, Zimbabwe.
