ARREST AND PROSECUTE THOSE PROMOTING LGBTQ+ ACTIVITIES – CLERGY URGES POLICE

The clergy has urged the Ghana police service to arrest and prosecute persons and institutions promoting the activities of LGBTQ+.

Proponents of the Promotion of the Anti-Gay Bill have alleged that some international schools and media houses are secretly promoting and supporting the related activities of LGBTQ+.

The Ghanaian clergy have therefore issued a strong warning to such persons and organizations to desist or face their wrath.

With much appreciation to both side of parliament, the clergy is also calling on the the parliamentarians for the immediate passage of the of Proper Sexual Human Rights and Ghanaian Family Values Bill also known as the Anti-LGBTQ+ Bill into full law.

In a press conference today, the founder and leader of Messiah is Alive Chapel International at Ablekuma in the Greater Accra Region, Prophet Ben Hill Asante urged the speaker of parliament together with all MPs to immediately assent Anti-LGBTQ+ Bill to law.
