Press Release: DO NOT CURSE YOUR COUNTRY AND EXPECT PROGRESS FOR YOURSELF-:SAVE GHANA MOVEMENT AFFIRMS

The Save Ghana Movement has highlighted a prevailing issue among Ghanaians—our loss of hope in our own country, which has led us to unintentionally impose curses upon ourselves. In the process, we have been praising and envying the prosperity of other developed nations while harbouring negative beliefs about our own identity as black individuals. A prominent example of this is Twene Jonas, who consistently criticizes and places curses on our nation, often making statements that suggest favouring white individuals over black ones.

As a nation, we have collectively internalized these negative sentiments. The media plays a significant role in exaggerating this despair by magnifying our problems without offering viable solutions. This leaves our people in a state of anguish, anger, and hopelessness, making them believe that there is no way out or no feasible solutions in sight.

The Save Ghana Movement aims to deliver a message of hope to all Ghanaians. We have witnessed the potential for positive change, but to achieve it, we must first rid ourselves of the self-imposed curses. Phrases like “Ghana is never going to prosper” or “Ghana has no future” must be replaced with their opposites. We must affirm that Ghana indeed has a bright future, one where development and prosperity are not only possible but inevitable. Save Ghana Movement is resolute in this affirmation.

Save Ghana for a Better Future

God Bless Ghana
