SHOWBOUY’S YOUTH IN AGRIBUSINESS FOUNDATION OFFICIALLY LAUNCHED TO SUPPORT 5000 YOUTH

SHOWBOUY’S YOUTH IN AGRIBUSINESS FOUNDATION OFFICIALLY LAUNCHED TO SUPPORT 5000 YOUTH.

A foundation which seeks to support youth on agribusiness and promote agriculture has been officially launched in central region.

Known as Showbouy’s Youth In Agribusiness Foundation (YAF), the foundation is targeted at distributing over 10,000 seedlings and financial support to over 1000 youths in a year which will not be only central region alone but rather across the nation.

The launch, which took place last Saturday was attended by members of the foundation, chiefs, representatives from corporate institution, and others.

The Founder of the foundation, Mr. Isaac Agyiri popularly known as Showbouy, said over the years, many youths in rural areas across the country had been unable to buy seedlings.

The Founder disclosed further that the key elements of the youths in agribusiness foundation also include an input credit system that provides youth in agribusiness with access to inputs such as seedlings, fertilizers and pesticides and other support services for improving productivity and yield as well as logistic hub to improve storage and distribution of produce to reduce post-harvest losses.

Showbouy continue to give his pledge that, he going to do everything possible to support youth in agribusiness; food crop seedlings and financial support they deserve from the foundation. We need to raise agriculture to a higher plane to be able to improve on the quality of life for our people.

He therefore urging corporate institution, international corporate institution and ministry of agriculture headed by Hon. Dr. Bryan Acheampong to support Showbouy’s Youth In Agribusiness Foundation to make their aim comes to reality.
