I’ll replace Gambling with industrialised Jobs if elected as President-Dr Hassan Ayariga

The Flagbearer of All People’s Congress (APC),Dr Hassan Ayariga has indicated that, he will create more Jobs for the teeming unemployment youth when elected as President to demotivate them from venturing into sport betting.

According to him, Gambling, especially sports betting has created an avenue for Ghanaian youth to be lazy, adding that such lifestyle retard progress of the country and inimical to the well-being of the individuals who are addicted to sport betting.

Dr Ayariga reiterated that the youth of this country needs lucrative Jobs for their livelihoods thus the alarming rate of the youth involvement in sport betting is very alarming and can possibly ruin their future if pragmatic measures are put in place to address the issue.

“I will create an Avenue for more jobs for the teeming youth when I become the President of Ghana” he said

“I will cancel betting and make it illegal in Ghana.I will rather replace Gambling with industrialised Jobs for the youth because is not the option”

Dr Ayariga believes that betting is a lazy man approach to become successful in life and does not in anyway encourage hard work, noting that it’s highly a zero adventure and if not regulated it will go a long way to corrupt the youth in the country.

Meanwhile, as part of the regulating sport betting in the country, the Ghana Revenue Authority has implemented a 10% tax on winnings from betting.
