Responsible Mining Does Not Destroy Land And Water Bodies – Nkaseim Chief

The Ankobeahene of Nkaseim, Nana kantan Dunfeh in the Ahafo region in an interview with the media stated that, the Ahafo Nkaseim mining does not destroys lands and water bodies as some people asserted.

Nana kantan Dunfeh said, Nana Yaw Sarpong, Sompahene of Nkaseim has acquired requisite knowledge in mining and he has provided the necessary facilities in his mining company which attest that he has engaged in responsible mining.

Speaking in relating to the full operations of the mining company, the vice committee chairman, Mr. Kesse Robert said, the outfit tried all possible means to acquire documents but prove futile.

Some female workers used the opportunity to appeal to the government and the president, Nana Addo to provide the needed documents to the company to help them remain in the job field because the mining site is their only source of living,
