Rejected NPP Delegates Mobbed Hon. Kwadwo Addai Dapaah – NDC Parliamentary Candidate For Bantama

The rejected delegates of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) on Sunday 10th December 2023, mobbed Hon. Kwadwo Addai Dapaah the Parliamentary Candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for the Bantama Constituency when he arrived at the one-week observation of the Late Hon.Daniel Okyem Aboagye, the Former member of Parliament for the Bantama constituency.

Hon. Kwadwo Addai Dapaah was warmly welcomed with rousing applause and embraced by members of the Rejected Delegates from the NPP and other members of the party.

The Leader of the group cried and narrated that they were delegates of the NPP at night, woke up the following morning, and saw that their names had been taken off and replaced by Hon.Asenso Boakye’s family and friends.

They believe that in the just-ended Presidential Primaries of the NPP which Kennedy Agyapong pulled a surprise of 402 against his major contender Dr. Mahmoud Bawumia the Vice President who had 422 with only 18 votes difference is the course of the Hon. Asenso fear of losing Bantama seat to one Lawyer Ralph Agyapong a brother of Hon.Kennedy Agyapong.

Hon. Asenso Boakye was heavily booed and yelled insults by a section of the mourners and the Rejected delegates. They have vowed to vote against the NPP and Asenso Boakye come December 7, 2024.

The leadership of the rejected delegates further assured that they will throw their support for Hon. Kwadwo Addai Dapaah if the NPP denies Lawyer Ralph Agyapong the brother of Hon.Kennedy Agyapong the right to contend Asenso in the coming parliamentary primary.
