End discrimination and support us during disaster: Oti Regional Fulanis Executives urged NADMO

The Oti Regional Executives of Fulanis has urged the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) to end discrimination and support them during disaster.

The Regional Executives accused Government and NADMO for their continues support to households affected by various disasters in Ghana but always denied them in the same situations.

Mr Isah Ali Sonde, the Regional Chairman said this during the inauguration of the 27- member committee in the Oti Region to steer the affairs of Tabital Pulaaku International.

In an exclusive interview with the press after the inauguration Mr Abdurahman Jallow, deputy national youth leader of Tabital Pulaaku International said the rate at which citizens and even the security personnels discriminate in issues regarding Fulanis is outrageous.

“Some Ghanaians see us as strangers which is not true, some of us were born here and have citizens right in Ghana” Mr. Abdurahman added.
