ICT Laboratory, Two Classroom Block and Modern Canteen Block Commissioned at Boadi

To improve teaching and learning, Boadi M/A Basic School in the Oforikrom Municipality of the Ashanti Region has received a state-of-the-art ICT Laboratory Center, a well-finished Two Classroom Block, and a Modern Canteen Block from philanthropist Nana Owusu Bempah, CEO of Spencam Group of Companies.

He said he can’t wait to become a well-known billionaire before considering the welfare of others, but since he doesn’t have much, he wants to make a big impact on many lives, which can be accomplished through education.

According to his own experiences, hard work does pay off, but no matter how small a favor God bestows, you will always need support from others. You must pray for this kind of favor because, without it, life would become extremely challenging.

The ICT Center was dedicated by Nana Bempah, a 1998 Bach Old student at the Boadi M/A Basic to his Late Mother, Obaapenin Yaa Mem, in her loving memory, and dedicates the Canteen Block to his grandmother, Obaapenin Ama Mem, and the Two Classroom Block to Hajia Sara Bonsu, who supported his education and helped shape who he is today.

Amid government developmental policies, lawyer Abraham Kwame Antwi, the chief executive officer of Oforikrom Municipality, stated in his speech that inclusive government is necessary to support and improve community development.

He thanked the philanthropy, Nana Owusu Bempah the CEO of Spencam Group of Companies for the initiative and encouraged him to continue to do more for the Oforikrom Municipal. He further urges the individual not to deny their people what God has blessed them with but rather give out the little that they can to the community.

The Oforikrom Municipal Education Director, Mrs. Dorothy Opare Baidoo, praised the academic achievement of the school and expressed gratitude to the staff for their hard work. She also thanked Nana Owusu Bempah for improving the appearance of the Boadi M/A Basic School by adding new facilities like an ICT center, a canteen block, and two classroom blocks that will improve both teaching and learning in the classroom.

Additionally, she makes a plea for help fencing the school to ensure safety and security for teaching and learning from individuals, NGOs, Nananom, and other stakeholders.

At last, Nana Wereko Appiah, Otumfour Saabanhene Gyasahene, counseled the school administration to properly maintain the facilities and utilize them for the good of the Boadi Community and its surroundings.
