HON. JOSEPH MENSAH – MP FOR NKORANZA NORTH DONATES MOBILE PHONES TO NKORANZA NORTH COMMUNICATIONS BUREAU.

The Nkoranza North Communications Bureau successfully held her Communications Workshop for the Constituency Communications Team and Branch Communications Officers during the weekend.

The Workshop which was sanctioned by the affable National Communications Officer Lawyer Sammy Gyamfi was organised by the Constituency Communications Officers under the guidance of the Bono East Regional Communications Bureau. The workshop saw participants engaged in 6 hours of tutorials in communications strategies, political history of Nkoranza North Constituency and Political Commitment towards achieving a landslide victory for H.E. John Dramani Mahama and Hon. Joseph Mensah come 7th December, 2024.

In his welcome address, Hon. Osei Nyamekye Benign the Constituency Communications Officer who doubles as an Assembly Member tabled the successes of the Constituency Communications Bureau and one worth mentioning is the increase in the number of Media Monitors Team (Regular Callers). In 2022, the Constituency that had only 2 Callers with one without a mobil phone who had to rely on a friend’s phone for call until later the Bono East Regional Chairman Hon. Unas Owusu provided him with a phone. But today, Nkoranza North can boast of 8 Media Monitors who call the various radio stations in the Nkoranza enclave and beyond.

Comrade Isaac Adaebsa – Regional Secretary for NDC for Bono East Region took the participants through Political Communications followed by Hon. Kwadwo Agyei Dwomor – Former DCE of Nkoranza North who doubles as the immediate past Regional Communications Officer for Bono East took attendees through the political history of Nkoranza North and Comrade Sulemana Abubakar – Bono East Deputy Regional Communications Officer tutored participants on Political Strategies – Facts and Figures.

Speaking as a guest speaker, Dr. Mohammed Awal – Deputy Director of Proforum in Charge of Labour Issues reiterated the essence of commitment on the part of all participants leading to a resounding victory for NDC come December 7th and advised against tendencies leading to disunity amongst the rank and file of the Party in the constituency.

In addressing the participants, Comrade Suleman Mohammed – Mustapha – RCO for Bono East encouraged the participants to put in their best to see a resounding victory for H. E. John Dramani Mahama as well as maintaining the Parliamentary seat for Hon. Joseph Mensah and the NDC come December 7th, 2024.

Hon. Joseph Mensah presented mobile phones to all the members of Media Monitors Team including 2 Members of the Nkoranza South Media Monitors Team. He showed appreciation for the good works they have been doing for the party and encouraged them to continue until the elephant is driven back to the bush. Some of the phones were procured by the MP and others from Comrade Ernest Arhin of Kintampo South. The Bureau is grateful to all who contributed to the success of the programme most especially Comrade Samuel Gyan of UK/Ireland Branch of the NDC who is a native of Nkoranza North and Hon. Frank Kwame Agyei former Parliamentary Aspirant. Thank you.
