An investigation into the shooting outside the Canadian rap star, Drake’s mansion is ongoing, according to Toronto Police. It been reported that a security guard has badly injured in drive-by shooting.
The incident occurred late last night, and authorities are currently reviewing surveillance footage to identify the suspects. The motive behind the shooting is still unclear, but police are urging anyone with information to come forward.

The entrance to the sprawling property on Park Lane Circle in the ritzy Bridle Path neighbourhood was taped off by officers early Tuesday. There was a heavy police presence in the area throughout the morning.
The shooting happened around 2:10 a.m., police said in a brief post on X, formerly Twitter. The general location provided by police was the nearby corner of Bayview and Lawrence avenues.
Police haven’t commented further on the case at this point.
However, a police source said early details from the initial call suggest the victim was a security guard at the home who appears to have been shot in a drive-by attack.

He suffered a gunshot wound to the upper chest and was unconscious when officers arrived, according to the initial report.
The victim was taken to hospital via emergency run, where he underwent surgery.
Images of the rapper’s palatial 50,000-square-foot home are frequently shared online, often by Drake himself.
Drake is currently embroiled in a number of high-profile feuds with other rappers and musical artists. The most notable is an ongoing dispute with the California rapper Kendrick Lamar, which hit a fever pitch this week as both released multiple tracks that levelled unsubstantiated allegations and insults at each other.
