Christian women cautioned against make-up and tattoos

Christian women have been cautioned against using make-up and tattooing their bodies as they contravene Christian teachings.

Prophetess Ekua Gyanwaah, Co-founder of Rabbi Healing Church, said it was sin for Christian women to engage in such practices.

She, therefore, encouraged them to desist from all acts of immorality and other vices which militated against the Gospel of Christ and live exemplary lives for others to emulate.

Prophetess Gyanwaah was speaking in an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA) after the church’s Sunday service at Bobikuma in the Agona West Municipality of the Central Region.

“Many pastors have failed to tell the truth to their congregants that it was not good for women to put on artificial hairs and eyelashes, fingernails, make-up, breast enhancement, tattoos and others that do not please God,” she stated.

She advised the women to serve God in holiness and eschew every act that would be a setback in worshipping their creator saying; “Rapture will soon come but only those who are holy can enter the kingdom of God.”

Prophetess Gyanwaah admonished Christian women not to join bad companies to avert the devastating relationship between them and their God adding that every Christian woman should be a role model in her community.

Odiifo Kofi Gyan, the Founder and Leader of the Church, appealed to the National Road Safety Commission (NRSC) to institute a policy to guide drivers and curb road accidents, especially during Easter and Christmas festivities.

He cautioned drivers against drug abuse, alcoholism and careless driving, which were the major causes of accidents while urging passengers not to put unnecessary pressure on drivers to speed.
