Opare limped off during a friendly against Brasschaat after colliding with an opponent.
The 27-year-old underwent operation but has now fully recovered.
He has resumed training with his teammates and head coach Laszlo Bölöni has decided to include him in his squad mid-season training.
The Ghana international made 23 appearances for the club last season.
