It’s Time To Put Ghana First: NDC’s Bright Botchway Urges Ashanti Region To Vote for Change

In a powerful address at the Kejetia Market during the National Youth Wing’s “Leadership Connect to the People” campaign, Bright Botchway, National Deputy Director of the Traders and Artisans Network for the NDC, made a heartfelt appeal to the people of Ashanti to approach the 2024 election with a critical eye towards Ghana’s future.

“This election is not just about NDC or NPP; it’s about choosing between the current state of our nation and the possibility of a better future,” Botchway emphasized. “We can’t afford to be loyal to a party when our country is suffering. It’s time to put Ghana first.”

Botchway highlighted the struggles Ghanaians face under the current administration, saying, “No one needs to be told that things have taken a turn for the worse. Businesses are collapsing, and economic mismanagement is stifling our growth. Change is desperately needed.”

He encouraged the people of Ashanti to hold onto their political identities while recognizing the need to vote out elements not serving the nation’s best interests, specifically mentioning Vice President Bawumia.

“We shouldn’t feel compelled to display NDC symbols to advocate for change. Instead, let’s focus on the broader goal of resetting our country,” Botchway urged.

He discussed the NDC’s policies for traders and artisans, assuring them that an NDC government would prioritize their needs, creating an environment for their businesses to thrive.

“Let’s unite and take action now. The success of this campaign lies in our hands. We must spread the message of change without hesitation and work towards a renewed and prosperous Ghana,” Botchway concluded.
