Ghana’s Cry for Peaceful Elections: Where is the National Peace Council?

The National Peace Council’s conspicuous silence in the face of electoral irregularities and the government’s mismanagement which propelled the country into excruciating hardship has raised concerns among Ghanaians.

As the nation teeters on the brink of democratic erosion, we urge the council to reclaim its mandate and ensure the EC do the right thing before things escalate.

The New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) collision Electoral Commission for fulfilling its agenda to rig the 2024 Elections is a disturbing attempt to undermine democracy the country is enjoying.

The NPPs brazen actions seeks to perpetuate electoral manipulation and impose an illegitimate leader on Ghana.

We, the concerned citizens of Ghana, will not stand idly by while our democracy is hijacked. We’ve endured years of tyrannical governance, and enough is enough. Our nation deserves better. We demand truth, accountability, and justice.

To the National Peace Council, we say: your inaction will no longer be tolerated. Your silence emboldens perpetrators and betrays the trust placed in you.

To the Ghana Police Service, we caution: when the people rise to demand justice, you cannot outnumber or silence them. Excessive force will only fuel the flames of discontent. Remember, your duty is to protect citizens, not shield corrupt leaders.

We’re prepared to make sacrifices for justice. We’ll mobilize peacefully, using every democratic channel available. Our resolve is unwavering.

Ghana deserves better. This is our homeland, and we’ll fight for its future.

*Together, we can reclaim our democracy.*
