In a heartwarming gesture, the Chief Executive Officer of El-Shaddai Group of Companies, Mr. Kalala Eghan, who also serves as the NDC Vice Chairman for Awutu Senya West Constituency, donated items worth thousands of Ghana cedis to widows, widowers, the aged, and orphans in the district.

The donation, which took place at the Restoration Hour Assemblies of God, benefited over 100 widows from various communities, including Jei Krodua, Adawukwa, Osei Krodua, Bawjiase, and Papaase. Each recipient received a hamper and a generous cash gift.

The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to Mr. Kalala for his kindness and prayed for his continued success in business.

The items were presented by Rev. Daniel K. Abbam, Head Pastor of the church, along with Rev. Stephen Kaitoo, Asafo Maame Eunice Abbam, Asafo Maame Kaitoo, and Lawrence Lamptey, Assemblyman for Obom.

This donation is part of El Shaddai Group of Companies’ corporate social responsibility initiative, which aims to support vulnerable members of society. The presentation was made on Sunday, January 5, 2025, to mark the beginning of the new year.

Rev. Abbam seized the opportunity to appeal to other organizations and philanthropists to emulate Mr. Kalala’s generosity and support the needy, orphans, widows, and other vulnerable individuals in the community, reminding them that they too are loved and created by God.
