2024 Polls: Dr. Bawumia Is The Cause of NPP’s Defeat- CPP
The former Ashanti regional Chairman for the Convention People’s Party (CPP) Mr. O. S Osei Yaw has pointed fingers at Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the presidential candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), for the party’s defeat in the 2024 general election. This comes after Dr. Bawumia conceded defeat and congratulated former President John Dramani Mahama on his victory.
According to reports, the former chairman attributes NPP’s loss to Dr. Bawumia’s leadership and campaign strategies. According to him, the party lost the election some four years back.
Despite the loss, Dr. Bawumia remains optimistic about the future of the NPP, hinting at a possible return to the political arena.
