BREAKING NEWS: Is Asokore Mamponghene Dead?

The Asokore Mampong Akwamuhene Nana Oheneba Kofi Nti has refuted rumours that the 17th occupant of the Asokore Mampong stool Nana Boakye Ansah Debrah is dead.

The newly installed Asokore Mampong Akwamuhene refuted rumours that the Asokore Mamponghene who is also Otumfuo Nifahene Nana Boakye Ansah Debrah has passed on adding that is a mere rumour without fact.

The former assembly member for the area, now Akwamuhene Nana Oheneba Kofi Nti therefore, states the rumour is of no merit and describes it as false as far as he is concerned.

Although Nana Oheneba Kofi Nti who is now serving as a caretaker of the Asokore Mampong traditional area, admitted that Nana Boakye Ansah Debrah is not feeling well and has left for South Africa to receive medical treatment which he says according to him Nana Boakye Ansah Debrah is doing well and has assured to return home soon.

“The Asokore Mamponghene Nana Boakye Ansah Debrah is still alive and working hard to bring development to the Asokore Mampong and it’s surrounding communities, especially how to transform the Okomfo Anokye Rod Site located at the Asokore Mampong old Palace to tourists attraction center” he confided in Elvisanokyenews.com

Nana Oheneba Kofi Nti therefore urged the public as well as rumour mongers to refrain from such attitudes as soon as possible.

Nana Boakye Ansah Debrah, the Chief of Asokore Mampong has been very instrumental with regards to major Projects or Institutions within his enclave.

Among other things the renowned traditional ruler has initiated are the Asokore Mampong Rural Bank which he is the Board Chairman and Osei Tutu II Affordable Houses.
