“I grew up in the church. You know, in the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, we have generation groups. I started as a member of the Children’s Service, graduated to Junior Youth (J.Y.), and later moved on to the Young People’s Guild (Y.P.G.), all within the Ramseyer Congregation in Mesidan.” He said.
According to him, the church played a vital role on his life, even after relocation from Mesidan for educational and professional pursuits. The Techiman North MCE explained that he is the man he is today due to the principles he learned through church’s generational groups, stating that he is truly grateful for their impact.
He also expressed his profound appreciation to God and the church community for their unwavering support and influence over the years.
“As a result of education and work, I had to move out of town. However, I never abandoned my Presbyterian faith. The Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Ramseyer Congregation in Mesidan, played a major role in my upbringing. In fact, the principles I learned through these generational groups have truly shaped my life.
“I am most grateful to God and to the church for the impact they’ve had on me. I’m very proud to be part of the church’s 70th anniversary celebrations. All I can say is: Ebenezer, this is how far the Lord has brought us.” He said.
