IYNUNSCR 2250 Unveils Historic Chaplaincy and Missions Unit

The International Youth Network for United Nations Security Council Resolution 2250 (IYNUNSCR 2250) has launched its revered Chaplaincy and Missions Unit, marking a watershed moment in the organization’s relentless pursuit of global peace, security, and youth empowerment.

This visionary unit is dedicated to nurturing spiritual growth, providing solace through chaplaincy services, and championing mission-driven initiatives that harmonize with the noble objectives of UNSCR 2250.

In the light of this,by bridging diverse backgrounds and fostering a culture of collaboration, the unit seeks to galvanize a network of trailblazing change-makers who can possibly inspire and mobilize individuals around the globe to strive towards a more harmonious and secure world. The unveiling of this unit underscores IYNUNSCR 2250’s unrelenting commitment to harnessing the boundless energy and creativity of young people to drive transformative change and promote sustainable development.

At the helm of this initiative is the Global Director, H.E. Rev. Raymond Wealth-Annang, a revered spiritual leader, who is ably supported by the Africa Director, Amb. Bishop Dr. David Yeboah. Together, they are spearheading the rapid expansion of the unit in Africa, cultivating a new generation of leaders who embody the principles of peace, security, and spiritual growth.

Through their tireless efforts, chaplains offers guidance, lead religious services, and help individuals overcome spiritual and emotional hurdles.

“While formal education may not be a prerequisite for chaplains, all members of the unit are expected to be licensed or pursue certification through the ITC DPS, ensuring that they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.”
