The Minister for Trade, Agribusiness, and Industry, Hon. Lawyer Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare, has called on all businesses across the country to fully cooperate with officials conducting the Integrated Business Establishment Survey Phase II (IBES II), which begins on Thursday, 10th July 2025.
In a national address, the Techiman North MP expressed strong support for the Ghana Statistical Service-led survey, describing it as essential for shaping targeted policies, trade and industrial programs, and building a resilient economy.
“At the Ministry of Trade, Agribusiness, and Industry, we fully endorse this exercise. The data will help us shape targeted policies, design impactful trade, agribusiness and industrial programs, and build a more competitive and resilient economy. The survey will support the various economic development initiatives of government.” She stated
The Legislature appealed to business owners to provide accurate and timely information when visited by field officers, stressing that their participation will contribute to a better business environment. Hon. Ofosu-Adjare also encouraged fellow ministers to lend their support to the exercise in their respective sectors.
She also urged all Ministers to support IBES II within their respective sectors to ensure the growth and development of businesses in the country.
“Today, I’m calling on all selected businesses to cooperate fully with the field officers when they visit your premises, starting Thursday, 10th July, 2025. Provide accurate information and participate actively, because the data you share today helps us build a better business environment for tomorrow. And to my colleague Ministers, I encourage you to support IBES II in your sectors.
“Let us work together to make it a national success. Together, we can drive business growth, create jobs, and transform our economy. Support IBES II. Let your establishment be counted, included, and be empowered. IBES II, data for prudent business decisions.”
