NPP Parliamentary Aspirant OPK, 4 others injured in an accident

Five (5) persons are currently nursing various degrees of injuries after a campaign vehicle belonging to Parliamentary aspirant for Mpraeso Constituency, Mr. Davis Opoku Ansah, known as OPK was involved in an accident.

mynewsgh confirmed that the incident happened on Tuesday evening at about 5pm on the Accra-Suhum road while they were returning from one of their campaign trips.

All injured persons including OPK himself are currently responding to treatment at a health facility in Accra according to one Kofi Castel Grant an associate.

He indicates that OPK together with his team were returning from Accra to the Mpraeso Constituency and  is said to doing well and expected back in due course.

It is gathered that the accident was a result head on collision with an oncoming vehicle believed to be a sprinter Benz Bus.

Police in Suhum confirmed the incident to Mynewsgh and indicate that investigations have commenced to establish the actual cause of the accident.
