ELECTION 2020: Osei Bonsu SHS Prefects Call for National Emulation

Yefriman Senior high school which has been renamed after the chief of Yefriman due to his tremendous contribution towards development of the school, now known as Osei Bonsu Senior High  School.

 

This week witnessed colorful atmosphere of students campaigning all over the school. What makes  this unique among all the past  election is the season of national elections.

 

All students interested in the various positions applied and was vetted by School electoral commission chair by Gyabaah Felix.

 

The most exciting moment was when Manifesto of the students vying for various positions was being read before entire populace of the school gathered hoping to hear the promises of these fantastic aspiring leaders. Infect among the Manifesto read by the aspirant are the challenges like security issues and how it will be deal with when voted for the position. Some also raise concern of discipline and the use of mobile phones among others.

 

The headmaster Mr Seth Badu was very glad seeing how the students conducted themselves during the whole process. When the media had contact with him, he revealed that the nation should learn from this Young one’s  and emulate the good aspect and should not engage in any election violence coming December 7,2020. That Ghana needs peace especially Nkoranza North District to embark on developmental activities, he urged all politicians to consider the nation first in all their dealings and should not Ploughs the nation into chaos.

 

The Assistant head of Academic ( Christiantus Derry) also caution the youth to be very vigilant and not to allow themselves to be used by  politicians to satisfy their selfish interest. That this year all that we demands from our politicians is healthy politics and reliable promises that will give facelift to our mother Ghana.

 

The hard working Senior House master (Abdulai Adusei) who see to day to day movement of the students call for support from benevolent to come to the aid of the school since the school is face with challenges, that the government has done tremendously well in improving infrastructure, expanding dormitories and Class room infrastructure. That just recently the school received executive school chair from the government which has actually improved student- to-chair ratio.

 

That is not enough, the school will be very glad to have it fenced all round and to have   internet accessibility even though  a team of officers came in for Wi-Fi connectivity, he pleaded that they should speed up their work since it will really help student do research on all subjects which will intern makes our students outstanding excellent products for the district and the Country at large.
