Kenyan Police have arrested a man for allegedly murdering his wife.
The middle-aged man, Festus Baya Maitha, who is a civil servant confessed that he chopped his wife into pieces when he realised that his wife had a lover outside the marriage.
The murder tool place in the home of the culprit.
Advising the public on marital disputes the chief of police said,
“When marital dispute arises, you shouldn’t take the law into your own hands. You can seek advice from close relatives, elders in the society or professional counsellors. Just look at this case: a civil servant took the law into his own hands and decided to kill his wife. Had he sought professional help, he would have saved the woman’s life and shielded himself from possible jail term. If anything, potential partners are many, and he, most likely, would have gotten a new spouse after ending his marriage to the now-deceased,”
