Bail For 6 Landguards: Bawumia’s Bodyguard Exonerated

Information gathered from thorough investigations has revealed that claims that the Vice President, HE Dr Mahamudu Bawumia’s bodyguard had secured bail for some six arrested notorious land guards, are false.

There have been some media reports suggesting that Azeez, a bodyguard to the Vice President stormed the Greater Accra Regional Command on Sunday and secured bail for some persons arrested for attacking people on land at Pantagn.

The Anti Counter-Terrorism Operation Team from the Greater Accra Regional Police Command on Friday, arrested the six Notorious land guards after they have allegedly butchered, brutalized and shot Masawudu Swallah. They include; Matahta, Tairu Faisal a.k.a. Tiny, Abdul Fatawu Mustapha, Jordan and three others.

However, it emerged after a painstaking investigation that the said allegation that Azeez was the one who facilitated the release of the six persons is false.

Interesting revelations had revealed that their bail was signed by the Company they were representing’s CEO.

According to information gathered, the allegation was made by persons who were uncomfortable with the release of the people on Bail, hence fabricated such lies.

It also emerged that the six persons are Company Security Personnel employed by Jeleel Company to keep watch over the company’s properties.

Speaking with Jezeel however, he expressed disgust at the publication and indicated that he was not at the police station neither did he facilitated the release of any person.
