NPP lawyer Philip Addison goes independent after disqualification from NPP primaries

Lawyer Philip Addison is set to contest the Akuapem North Parliamentary seat as an independence candidate.

The lawyer who was disqualified from the NPP primaries at the Akuapem North constituency is not giving up his hopes of going to parliament.

Lawyer Philip Addison contested for the Klottey Korle seat on the ticket of NPP in 2016 but lost to Zanetor Rawlings.

This year he decided to move to a traditional NPP constituency, Akuapem North but he was disqualified by the party executives in the constituency.

After the NPP primaries, he is still keeping his hopes of going to Parliament alive as trying to contest as an Independent candidate.

The lawyer of the President in the 2012 Supreme Court election dispute has started posting posters of himself as an independent candidate at Akuapem North for the forthcoming 2020 general election.
