A/R: 4 arrested over cop’s murder

The police command in the Ashanti Region has arrested four suspects in connection with the murder of a police officer by armed robbers at Manso Abodom Dome in the Amansie West District.

The suspects include two men and two women.

The Deputy Regional Police Commander, ACP David Agyemang Adjem, told the media at a press briefing on Wednesday, 21 August 2019 that they are also pursuing some other suspects in connection with the case.

Corporal Bernard Antwi was shot in the head on Monday, 19 August 2019 around 5:30 p.m.

The body has been deposited at the Agroyesum hospital morgue awaiting an autopsy.
