Robbers inflict cutlass wounds on MOMO vendor; steal GHC5,800

Two armed robbers on Monday attacked a mobile money vendor at Abesim, a suburb of Sunyani in the Bono Region.

The robbers made away GH¢5,800.00 after inflicting multiple cutlass wounds on the hapless vendor.

According to the victim, Collins Agyemang, 30, one of the robbers managed to enter his container and got hold of the bag containing his daily sales. When he resisted, the second robber emerged and inflicted multiple cutlass wounds on him, rendering him powerless.

Collins Agyemang told told Nimdie FM that, he fell unconscious after the robbers hit him with a hammer several times.

Collins said he was rushed to Dr.Berko Hospital where he is  currently responding to treatment . The case has been reported to the Abesim police station.
