According to a preliminary investigation by the Police, one Corporal Bright Adu reported to work sick and had to be sent to the Sege Polyclinic from Dawa where they were stationed.
The Corporal together with Constable Adu Nkansah Emmanuel and Inspector Issaka Yakubu who was driving the service vehicle with number GP178 drove from Dawe to Sege.
However, while journeying, the service vehicle is said to have suddenly veered into the opposite lane on the Battor to Kpone road and crashed with a CNHTC Tipper truck with registration number GM 2764-14 which was occupied by one Richard Laryeah Amatey aged 52 years and one other person.
Inspector Issaka Yakubu was said to have been stuck in the service car for close to an hour before he was removed with the assistance of Sege District Fire Service and rushed to Battor Catholic Hospital together with Corporal Bright Adu whilst the Constable and suspect driver Amartey were rushed to Sege polycyclic respectively for treatment.
The accident victims are said to be responding to treatment.
