NPP members are ungrateful – Owusu Bempah

Founder and Leader of Glorious Word Power Ministry International, Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah says despite the sacrifices he made for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) prior to the 2016 elections, he has not received a penny from them since they assumed office.

He said, though he is not expecting anything from the government, no member of the ruling NPP has approached him to show appreciation for his contribution to the party’s victory in the 2016 general election.

In an interview on Okay FM, monitored by The Ghana Report, Owusu Bempah said, though Nana Akufo-Addo may have good intentions, he has been surrounded by people who are bent on destroying his administration.

“What is very painful is when someone sacrifices and risk his life for a party to win elections and after the party wins, they reject the person…. that is a very painful experience…… I do not need anything from the NPP and people should not think that I have received anything from them,” he stated.

“I remember before the 2016 elections when I received God’s message that he has chosen Nana Akufo-Addo for Ghana and I was moving from one radio station to the other telling Ghanaians what God has told me…… I could get a phone call from the BNI that they have intelligence that some group of people are trying to trace me and take my life so I should not move…. I could wait at that particular radio station for hours before moving. I have had several attacks both at home and on the road, i have risked my life to see Nana Addo win the 2016 election…..so some people have worked for NPP’s victory,” he said.

He disclosed that a lot of NPP members are ungrateful.
