A Private Businessman Construct Storm Drain in River Adesu on Wassa Saamang and Wassa Nsuem road
In a bid to prepare for the impending rainy season and mitigate the risk of flooding, a private Businessman, Mr Abraham Afful popular know as DJ who lives in a community called Wassa Nsuem in the Wassa Amenfi East Municipality has made a promised to continue the drainage works Wassa Akropong, Saamang, Nsuem and other nearby areas.
Also, the drain is to help create access for the valumes of water that find it’s way into the area, and which eventually find it’s way to enter the homes of the peoples anytime there are heavy rains.
According to Mr Abraham Afful he has started the drainage works on River Adesu which joined Wassa Akropong, Saamang Nsuem and other communities.
He explained it that, they took one night to do that drainage work on that particular area and he would make sure he will continue to finished the other affecting communities
