A/R: Vals Day accident leaves 7 in critical condition

Seven (7) people have their lives hanging in the balance after being involved in a terrible accident at the Trede-Kentinkiren road on the Atwima Kwanwoma District of the Ashanti Region.

The accident occurred on Friday February 14, 2020 day around 10 pm according to an eyewitness account to MyNewsGh.com

The victims were initially rushed to the Royal Luweze hospital at Trede for treatment but later referred to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in view of the severity of their injuries

An eyewitness Osei Kapito told Pure FM’s Ambassador Osei Kwadwo that the Passenger Ford vehicle with registration number AS 7117-18 with top speed failed break and somersaulted several times on reaching a section of the road

It took the intervention of the personnel of the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) to cut the mangled vehicle before the victims could be rescued and rushed to a health facility.
