A Teenager Kills His Father during A Fight With Him

A 17-year-old man from Nandi County has been arrested for killing his father over family issues. The young man exchanged words with his 42-year-old father, which led to a fight between them and the father was beaten and killed by his son.

The CID said the father and son fought last night before he was killed in Kapkoros in Nandy County. The young man allegedly picked a rod and used it to hit his father’s head during the fight.

The 40-year-old man was severely injured and was taken to hospital for medical treatment, but he died while being treated at Miteitei Hospital. The DCI has not determined the cause of the argument between father and son, but the teenager has been arrested and will soon be sent to court
