Ambulance driver allegedly killed by ‘mad’ man

A driver of the Ghana National Ambulance Services in the Bole district of the Savannah Region, Mr. Mahama Imoro, a.k.a Lucky is reported to have been killed in the late hours of Sunday, 5 September 2022.

Mr. Imoro is alleged to have been hit on the head with a block by his assailant around the Bole L.A. Primary school at Mempeasem, a suburb of Bole.

According to a family relative of the victim, Mr. Mahama Haruna, Mr. Imoro is believed to have been making a call around the school where the alleged suspect sleeps.

He explained that the late Imoro Mahama upon encountering the suspect was hit on the head with a block by the suspect who is believed to be mentally deranged.

“The suspect has fled the scene,” he said.

Some passersby saw the late Imoro lying in a pool of blood and rushed him to the Bole District Hospital where he was confirmed dead on arrival.

Mr. Mahama Haruna described the victim as a peace-loving person who had no issue with anyone in Bole.

The suspect is alleged to have fled the Bole community.

Following Islamic laws and principles, the deceased’s body has been laid to rest.

Meanwhile, the  Bole community has been thrown into fear and panic following recent killings in the area.
