Armed robbers kill Adansi Rural Bank security man at Atonsu

Armed robbers have shot dead a security officer at the Adansi Rural Bank at Atonsu in the Ashanti regional capital in a robbery operation on Wednesday night.

The young security man believed to be in his thirties was tied with a rope and his mouth covered with tape.

Police from the Atonsu Divisional Command who visited the crime scene conveyed the lifeless body to Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital morgue.

No arrest has been made yet as Police commence investigation into the murder.
