Armed Soldiers and police has attack residents of Ada-Bonikope a town that share boundary with Songhor Lagoon in the Greater Accra Region, Residents are living in fear due to some soldiers and Police who are now turn to land guards.
According to the frustrated residents, this is just a repetition of what happened in 1985-2023 when a pregnant woman was killed.
They accused Electrochem, A company of MACDAN, they are the master minds behind the current situation in Bonikope.
Speaking in an interview with the media, Public Relations Officer Mr Karim Abraham Ahumah disclose their displeasure of the situation that, they now live in the state of terrorists because soldiers and macho men are harassing them, want to take over our lands and have even mounted barriers at some part of the land, indeed our lives are now indanger, Because they are all over the place, we can’t even go to work anymore because they have destroy some of our items, so we are pleading with the authorities.
They are calling President-Elect John Mahama, Parliament and IGP to their Aid and seek justice for the people.
