Ashanti NPP Launches Constituency Campaign Teams

The Ashanti Regional branch of the governing New Patriotic Party(NPP) has commenced grassroots campaign in earnest with the launch of constituency campaign teams at all 47 constituencies in the region.

This follows a successful regional campaign launch last Wednesday by the General Secretary of the party in Kumasi.

The Constituency Campaign Team comprises all constituency executives,  Members of Parliament and Parliamentary Candidates,  MMDCEs, Council of Elders, former MPs/executives.

The launching of the constituency campaign teams is in line with the campaign structure of the party, which has been described as an all-inclusive one, embracing both old and new crop of party functionaries.

In a statement to all prospective constituency campaign team members,  the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the party,  Mr. Bernard Antwi Boasiako aka Chairman Wontumi, charged members to work hard towards consolidating the electoral fortunes of the party come December 7, 2020.

The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the party stressed the need for unity amongst the rank and file, adding that the campaign must be devoid of insult or personality attacks.

Chairman Wontumi stated that the campaign teams must consciously engage electorates,  taking into consideration the COVID-19 protocols,  to market the good policies and programmes of the party.
