A mobile money vendor has allegedly been killed by his friend at Gomoa Nyanyarno in the Central region.
The deceased, whose name was given as Joseph Koomson, was stabbed three times and died on the spot on Saturday evening.
Distraught mother, Elizabeth Koomson in an interview with Adom News said Mr Koomsom confronted the suspect who attempted to steal his money which resulted in a fight.
She said the suspect “hit Joe’s head with a cylinder and also stabbed him with a knife.
“When I rushed to Joe’s room, I found him in a pool of blood lifeless on his bed,” the mother said.
The suspect is said to have fled when residents rushed to the scene.
The deceased’s mother said they have reported the matter to the Gomoa Nyanyarno police for prompt action.
