Barcelona Fans In Ghana Blame Akufo-Addo’s Govt For Messi Exit

Messi left Barcelona after being the club for 21-years after both parties failed to reach agreement on a new contract.

Well, the new contract talks failed primarily because of the new La Liga’s financial fair play rules – which stood as an stumbling block to the new deal.

Just few days after leaving Barca, the 34-year-old Argentine joined Ligue 1 side PSG on a two year deal and will wear the number 30 jersey at the Parc de Princess.

Also, Messi’s contract with PSG has an option of year to extend.

Barcelona fans worldwide are still dealing with the heartbreak from Messi’s exit, but Barca fans in Ghana have channeled their anger on President Akufo-Addo’s government.

According to them, Nana Akufo-Addo should be blamed for Messi’s exit from Barca because of his poor governance.
