Last night, the Big Brother Naija Season 9 house was charged with tension, stemming from a heated argument that involved Victoria, Kassia, and always vocal Onyeka.

It had all begun when Onyeka had accused the two of gossiping about her, yet opted to make the accusation after housemates won the wager.

But once that bet was won, Onyeka wasn’t wasting any time calling them out-Victoria and Kassia-regarding gossiping. Things quickly escalated as Kassia and Victoria fired back in her direction, naming Onyeka the real gossip, even a coward, for habitually talking about people behind their backs in the house.

The verbal tussle sent the house reeling, while Onyeka’s accusations fell flat. The ladies held their own and had him cornered, and the tension lingered in the air long after the argument was over.

Dust still settling, Ben quietly made his way to Victoria and Kassia, stamping his seal of approval on them. He praised them both for how they handled the situation, and also for daring to take on Onyeka; this “ganging up” in order to bring down the loud housemate was the high point of his day, considering the fact that Onyeka’s brash attitude had become a bee buzzing annoyingly around many housemates’ ears.

As much as Onyeka had meant to stir the pot, it was truly Victoria and Kassia’s scorching rebuttal that stole the show. With things still boiling in the house, the screaming match has quite warmed things up, and this was exacerbated by alliances being forged and rivalries built. The more these dynamics unfold while fans watch time and again, the closer housemates get to a finale, the more a greater picture unravels.
