Black Stars’ Otto Addo, John Paintsil involved in accident on Tarkwa-Takoradi road

The Black Stars’ technical team, including head coach Otto Addo, assistant coach John Paintsil, and team official Fatawu Dadua, have been involved in a car accident on the Tarkwa-Takoradi road.

The incident happened on Saturday, August 31, when the team was en route to Accra following the Champions of Champions match between Premier League winner Samartex and Nsoatreman FC.

A video that has gone viral on social media shows the aftermath of the accident, but fortunately, none of the team members sustained serious injuries.

The technical team is expected to receive medical attention to ensure their fitness before resuming preparations for Ghana’s upcoming AFCON qualifiers against Angola.

The Black Stars are set to host Angola in Kumasi on September 5, 2024, before heading to Niger for their next fixture on September 9.
